Jumpstart

Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national charity dedicated to removing financial barriers so kids across Canada have the opportunity to get off the sidelines and into the game. Jumpstart helps kids between the ages of 4 to 18 by assisting with the costs associated with registration, equipment and/or transportation for sports and physical activity programming.

KidSport

KidSport 

KidSport Grande Prairie provides support to kids 18 years of age and under to help remove the financial barriers that prevent them from participating in organized sport programs.

Any applications for all sports can be dropped off at the following locations;

Grande Prairie Gymniks – Attention Katie

Grande Prairie Soccer Association – Attention Aneta

All Grande Prairie ATB Financial locations – Attention Kevin Mack

Pursuit of Excellence Athlete Development Fund

Pursuit of Excellence Athlete Development funding is provided to assist in the training and development of individual athletes who are pursuing excellence in their chosen sport.

Pursuit of Excellence Travelling Fund for Coaches and Athletes

Pursuit of Excellence provides travel assistance to Athletes, Coaches and even whole teams to attend National and International events.

Pursuit of Excellence Perky McCullough International Scholarship Fund

This Scholarship supports local high performance athletes who have demonstrated the ability to compete at the international level. Two $2500.00 scholarships are given out annually.

Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship Fund

Pursuit of Excellence awards up to four $1000.00 scholarships annually to individual athletes who are pursuing excellence in their sport.

Grande Prairie Low Income Recreation Access Program

The Low Income Recreation Access Program issues low-income Grande Prairie families and individuals a $300 credit per individual to access any City of Grande Prairie recreation facility and registered programs.
